Chris Simon will be joining former team members in the Stadium Series Alumni Game tonight, February 26th between the Colorado Avalanche and the Detroit Red Wings at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. This alumni game will feature many of the best Avalanche and Red Wing players from 1996-2002, a period of great rivalry between the two teams. Over the course of seven years from 1996 to 2002, these two teams met five times for 30 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Twenty years later, this rivalry is being renewed and the game will be played outside at Coors Field. They will play three 20-minute periods (running time) and two 12-minute intermissions.
