WAWA MALE CHARGED WITH FAIL TO COMPLY PROBATION
(WAWA, ON) – On Thursday May 26, 2016 at approximately 7:45 am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to a local address regarding a disturbance.
Further investigation revealed that a Domestic incident had occurred between a male and female and as a result a 37 years old Wawa man was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- 2 Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The male was released from custody on a Promise to Appear in Ontario Court of Justice for July 11, 2016.
DISPUTE CALL LANDS A WHITE RIVER MAN SEVERAL CHARGES
(WHITE RIVER, ON) – On Saturday May 28, 2016 at approximately 9:21 pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East White River Detachment responded to a local residence regarding a dispute.
Investigation revealed that an altercation had occurred between a male and female occupants and as a result a 32 years old White River man was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Assault a Peace Officer contrary to section 270(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Assault with intent to resist arrest contrary to section 270(1)(b) of the C.C.C
- Mischief Under $5,000 contrary to section 430(4) of the C.C.C
- 7 Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the C.C.C
- 2 Counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance contrary to section 145(3) of the C.C.C
The male was held into custody for Bail Hearing in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario for Monday May 30, 2016.
