The ARTSPEAKS team invites all adults and youth (age 16+) dealing with trauma to join them for the new ART-Drop Fridays: Guest Artist Series. Workshops run from 1-4pm at the Ideal Art Space, 724 Queen Street East, beginning Friday, September 29, 2017 through to October 27, 2017. These sessions are pay-what-you-can/$5 suggested donation. No pre-registration necessary.
ART-Drop Fridays: Guest Artist Series presents an opportunity for participants to learn about and experience the artistic process of different local artists. Each week a guest artist will share their artistic practice with participants. All necessary materials will be provided—no prior art-making experience is necessary to participate. This is an opportunity for female/male identifying folks ages 16+ impacted by sexual violence, addictions and mental health challenges to come together in learning a new craft or arts-based skill.
