The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) had a notable presence in the Spine Road area in Elliot Lake regarding the search for a wanted 30 year-old person.
Police were provided information from a family member stating that the person was in the area and had fled on foot. The OPP’s helicopter, Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, and uniform members assisted with the search. The male was not located.
There is no threat to public safety.
