On August 6, 2022 at approximately 11:53 a.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint of an eastbound motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 17 near White River.
At approximately 2:43 p.m., members of the East Algoma OPP located the suspect vehicle on Government Road in Thessalon. Through investigation, Hillary HOWE, 28 years-of-age, of Regina was arrested and charged with the following:
- Dangerous operation, contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code (CC),
- Flight from peace officer, contrary to section 320.17 of the CC, and
- Theft Under $5000, contrary to section 334(b) of the CC.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 12, 2022 in Wawa.
This woman is our daughter. We love her very much. Hillary has history of severe mental illness and hard drug abuse and delusions. Her new ‘friends’ are Satan worshippers, witches and drug addicts. She had accepted an intervention plan we did – then abandoned it in June 2022. In 5 hours on August 4th Hillary physically attacked us at our cabin in Saskatchewan, then attacked 4 other families/homes in less than 5 hours. She tried to stab people in our bunkhouse trailer but it was empty that night. She caused well over $100,000 in damage to homes and wrote in graffiti and online that she needs bigger weapons. She then drove to Ontario with intent to kill leaders or her former church. Police have all of this evidence. We have written evidence from Hillary that she wants to kill her mother. Hillary has had at least 6 psych evaluations since June 2022 and hospitals and police keep letting her out on her own recognicence. She has at least 12 criminal charges already served, or awaiting her here in Saskatchewan. Hillary is criminally insane and the public needs to be protected. Police forces across Canada don’t communicate well and psych staff at hospitals treat this like just another number. Hillary will kill someone unless she is remanded into custody. We truly believe this.
