Jody Wildman will remain Mayor for the township of St. Joseph Island. Wildman took 542 votes in Monday’s municipal election. Wildman beat out Barry Elliot and Katherine Henshell in the race.
Steven Adams was elected as councillor with 584 votes beating out Jason Garside with 228 votes. Three others, Bryon Hall, Cameron Ross and Greg Senecal all elected to council.
2 ballots were declined or rejected in the election with a total of 913 voters representing a 53.5% voter turn out
