The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for assistance with regards to a break and enter that occurred at a business property on Timber Road in Elliot Lake during the night of November 29, 2022.
The business was broken into during the night and several items were stolen; a Lincoln 180 Mig-Pak welder on cart, red pistol grip ice auger blade in canvass bag, fishing rods and tackle, two outboard motors (8hp Johnson and 9.9hp Evinrude), three chainsaws (Stihl, Husqvarna, and Jonsered), Honda 2000 watt generator, two Dewalt drills and tool bag, Bombardier side-by-side Hitachi 4-piece track set, Honda 724 track snowblower, and bottles of brandy and cognac. In addition, a pick-up was stolen and later found completely burnt on the Pipeline Road.
