(WIKWEMIKONG FIRST NATION, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are assisting Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS) with ongoing investigation.
On February 17, 2023, at approximately 1:50 a.m., WTPS responded to a call for service on Mshaaboos Lane in Wikwemikong First Nation.
WTPS, in conjunction with the Manitoulin OPP Crime Unit, the North East Region OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, and the North East Region Canine Unit are assisting with the investigation. There is no threat to public safety.
