The athletes from École Notre-Dame (Hanmer) displayed a great deal of determination and had a lot of fun during various sports tournaments held during the month of March. The girls’ grade 7 and 8 basketball team placed 3rd in the Bishop Alexander Carter Tournament. In addition, the grade 7 and 8 hockey team won the bronze medal in Division A at the Tournoi des Étoiles du Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord. Congratulations to both teams for displaying fine sportsmanship, camaraderie and determination! Students and school staff will soon celebrate these great successes during a school-wide sports rally!
