(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On March 29, 2023, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a person in relation to numerous prior fraud incidents.
The complainant reported numerous unauthorized bank machine transactions and fraudulent cheques cashed over the past several months. The complainant knew who was responsible as they had access to the bank card and cheques. After police investigation, that person was arrested.
Matthew FOURNIER, 41 years-old, of Elliot Lake was charged with:

- Obtaining by false pretence – under
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on May 1, 2023.
